ACEDS Executive Director Mary Mack honored for eDiscovery educational excellence by the Masters Conference

MIAMI — The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), a BARBRI professional association, today announced that executive director Mary Mack was named winner of the inaugural Excellence in Education Award at the 10th annual Masters Conference, a premier eDiscovery educational and networking event.

The Excellence in Education Award will be presented annually by the executive cabinet of the Masters Conference to honor individuals whose enthusiasm for and excellence in eDiscovery education has positively impacted the industry’s understanding of the discipline.

Mack is a member of the Illinois State Bar with a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. She is the author of two highly acclaimed books on eDiscovery, A Process of Illumination: The Practical Guide to Electronic Discovery, and eDiscovery for Corporate Counsel. Additionally, she was the visionary and leading author of one of the industry’s first eDiscovery educational blogs, Sound Evidence. Today Mack continues her educational efforts as the executive director of ACEDS where she regularly speaks, writes, and educates the eDiscovery community as part of ACEDS training and certification programs.
