Dan Wilson is a seasoned finance and operations leader who has created an exceptional level of value within multiple private equity-backed and public companies, as well as to the many boards on which he has generously given his service and expertise.

Prior to joining the BARBRI team in September 2011, Dan held senior finance, corporate development and operations positions, and led successful roll-ups and exits for a diverse group of media, communication and technology companies, including GAP Broadcasting, American Community Newspapers, AMFM, Inc., and Marcus Cable. He began his professional career with Arthur Anderson & Co. in the Accounting and Audit practice.

In addition to serving in finance capacities, Dan has also assumed many operating roles in these organizations including chief operating officer, general manager and publisher.  He has also been active in serving on the boards of many organizations, including GAP Broadcasting Group, American Community Newspapers, L.P., the Texas Community Newspaper Association, and Marcus Cable Properties, Inc., among others.

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with majors in finance and accounting from Saint Louis University. Originally from Nebraska, he is married with four daughters and two male dogs. When not spending time with his family, he enjoys running, snow skiing, college football, country music, and traveling.
